Tun Dr Mahathir was a Malaysian Prime Minister,and within his term as Malaysian PM,his achievement outstands others previous him.He with his big legacy--especially to lifting up "Malaysia Boleh" spirit,and Malaysia is sucsess in economy when he was in office.
Yes,he is draconian,an iron fist dictator leader,who romped the ideas of democracy in Malaysia,especially his government involvement of Memali incident,Ops Lalang etc,an absolute power when his baneful effort against monarch,finally retired on October 31st,2003.
Well,as a prominent political figure in Malaysia,"when your thoughts are powerful than gun",his action will influence others.
Last 3 months ago,he announced that he quits as an UMNO member,after his discontent with incumbent UMNO President Pak Lah.He told media that,Pak Lah will destroy UMNO,inadequate to lead,and asking Pak Lah to step down(after appointed Pak Lah as his sucsessor in 2002).
Mahathir always fascinate me.Once a Malaysian citizen,his ideas and thoughts are mass destructive for those who against him,an evil genius,which always fascinate me.His guileful is like Darth Sidious in Star Wars character,and to be honest I always admire evil genius.He is one of the evil genius who has roaming Earth.
But recently I've heard that he might return back to UMNO,to save UMNO from annihilation,Che Det,please retire and step back from what you want to do.You still can voice up your powerful thoughts at your blog,but please don't humiliate yourself.Darth Sidious like you don't deserve act of foolness[joining back UMNO].
Mahathir,let this Pak Lah and co. to get rot.And one day you'll have right to say straight to Pak Lah's face,"I told you,I already told you".

That's very true E. I agreed with ur saying bout Tun as evil Genius dude. He's really da man of time! His era, though many hates/criticised him for many many reasons, but i adore of his charisma, aura, leadership, dictatorship, eagerness, his ultra visions, his racist standing, his superb long hours speeches.... Maybe Tun scores 95% when ruled on his time. But Pak Lah Bodohwi , i bravely say a rotten mark of 19% or CGPA 0.24 haha.... May he'll RIP in h**l.....
Mahathir got his own legacy,either be a Malaysian hero for some views,or be the greatest crook,for some views.
